Lasers For Industry PTY Ltd – Warranty

1. Every laser instrument is thoroughly inspected and tested before leaving the factory. Lasers For Industry Ltd warrants this instrument for a period of 12 months against faulty materials or defective workmanship, we will repair (or replace at our option) the unit so long as the fault is not as a result of any relevant party’s negligence, damage, abuse, failure to follow any instructions supplied or normal wear and tear. In the event your claim is not valid under this warranty we will contact you before undertaking any repairs which are chargeable.

2. The warranty in clause 1 above is the only warranty that shall apply to the laser instruments and all other warranties otherwise applicable or relevant are, to the fullest extent allowed by the law, excluded. Without limiting the generality of this exclusion:

a. Lasers For Industry Ltd shall not be liable for any consequential, incidental or contingent damages or loss of profits, opportunity, expectation or other loss of a financial nature whatsoever and liability is otherwise limited to the value of the goods and/or services supplied by Lasers For Industry Ltd and associated with any claim.

b. When you purchase laser instruments or other goods or services from us for business purposes, then the consumer protection guarantees and rights expressed or implied in the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Australian Trade Practices Act 1974 and any similar consumer protection legislation in any relevant jurisdiction do not apply to the goods or services to the fullest extent allowable by the law.

c. Laser instruments or other goods supplied by Lasers For Industry Ltd shall not, to the fullest extent allowable by the law, be subject to the excludable warranties otherwise implied under the New Zealand Sale of Goods Act 1908, the Australian Trade Practices Act 1974 and any similar consumer protection legislation in any relevant jurisdiction into which laser instruments or other goods are supplied by Lasers For Industry Ltd or such goods are used.
